A Tesla Car Has Been Melted Down To Sculpt Elon Musk Busts - Corporate B2B Sales & Digital Marketing Agency in Cardiff covering UK

Is a Tesla car out of your budget? Well, now you can own a piece of it, though you’ll have to overlook the fact that it comes in the shape of Elon Musk’s head. In its latest of its obscenely opulent endeavors, luxury gadget customizer Caviar has melted down parts of a Tesla car to create eight-inch-tall busts in the likeness of the Tesla CEO.

Taking repurposing to extremes, Caviar has remelted the aluminum hood, doors, and panels of a Tesla Model 3 to resculpt it into Tesla model Elon Musks. The bust is mounted on a marble stand engraved with Musk’s name in 24K double gold plating.

Caviar’s head of marketing Dmitrey Stoliarov told Insider that the metal comes from a blue Tesla Model 3, a vehicle with a starting price of US$58,000, while the design was wholly created by a 3D artist, rather than obtained online.

Addressing a claim that the bust looks little like Musk, Stoliarov noted that the artist’s intention wasn’t to capture “photographic accuracy” but to create “an image of the inventor in which all his achievements and inventions are reflected.”

Only 27 of the busts will be put up on sale for a whopping US$3,220 a pop.

If you’re looking for something more practical, the company has also delivered on what it knows best: modding iPhones. Alongside the Elon Musk bust, Caviar has unleashed an iPhone 13 Pro Tesla Electro with a metal panel upcycled (or downcycled?) from the car’s aluminum parts, too. As a nod to the phone’s muse and origin, the aluminum is engraved with depictions of Musk, the Tesla Motors logo, and a Tesla car.

Shock-resistant white inserts pay homage to the classic color of Tesla vehicles, while a copper insert references “a key metal in the creation of electric vehicles.”

Just like the sculptures, the Tesla Electro iPhones will be limited-edition, with only 99 pieces available. Prices start from US$6,760 for the iPhone 13 Pro and US$7,300 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
